Standard UHMW was designed for light-duty applications. Drag conveyors and bucket elevators in grain and soy processing operate under sustained compressive grain loads, high temperature cycles, combustible dust environments, and outdoor UV exposure — conditions that push commodity polyethylene past its limits. Shocker CF UHMW was engineered specifically for these conditions.

Grain column weight crushes liners — not tension, not bending. At 10,000 psi compressive strength, Shocker CF UHMW resists deformation that causes standard grades to creep, gap from the trough wall, and increase chain drag over time.
NFPA 660 Compliance — Built In
Three of five common UHMW grades are electrically insulative. Shocker CF UHMW is inherently conductive at 10² Ω — passing the OSHA / NFPA 300 MΩ limit with a 10,000x safety margin through its structural carbon fiber network.

Less Thermal Movement
Shocker CF UHMW expands 24% less than standard UHMW across the same temperature cycle. On a 10-foot trough liner between cold startup and 185°F, that prevents bolt hole elongation, liner buckling, and mid-season retorquing.
